Infineon Launches ModusToolbox™ Power Suite to Accelerate Digital Power Conversion Design

Infineon Technologies has introduced ModusToolbox™ Power Suite, a comprehensive digital power conversion software platform built around the PSOC™ Control C3 microcontroller (MCU). Designed to streamline development, the Power Suite integrates user-friendly power conversion libraries, a graphical user interface (GUI), visualization tools and application examples into the broader ModusToolbox ecosystem. The platform provides engineers with a simplified and complete evaluation experience for digital power design across applications such as data centers, telecommunications, industrial switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), EV chargers, robotics and solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
“Infineon has a long-standing track record of delivering energy-efficient power solutions that meet the highest performance and quality standards required in complex power environments,” said Steve Tateosian, Senior Vice President of Industrial & IoT MCUs at Infineon. “Power Suite further accelerates time to market by equipping developers with intuitive tools and libraries that support a wide range of topologies.”
ModusToolbox Power Suite includes several key elements:
• Power Suite GUI: Enables configuration adjustments and real-time visualization during lab testing of evaluation boards and other solutions.
• Power Conversion Library: An embedded library offering all essential digital control functions for modern power stages, including control algorithms, sensing, modulation, startup procedures, protection features and support for common power topologies.
• Code Examples: C-source reference projects for various evaluation boards within ModusToolbox, allowing developers to review, modify and accelerate implementation.
When combined with the advanced PSOC Control C3 power conversion evaluation boards, Power Suite provides a structured development environment that simplifies configuration and optimization, significantly reducing hardware and software debugging cycles.
ModusToolbox Power Suite is now available for download at Infineon’s website. It will also support new PFC and LLC boards scheduled for release in spring 2026, which are designed to operate with the PSOC Control C3 control card.
Infineon will showcase its latest products and solutions focused on decarbonization and digitalization at Embedded World, taking place March 10–12, 2026, in Nuremberg, Germany. Visitors can find Infineon in Hall 4A, Booth 138, as well as through its online exhibition presence.
